At A Crossroads

Standard

I am standing at a crossroads in our project…Deborah told me she received an email from Steve Eisner that our first twenty page submission did not make the cut. She is disappointed but assures me that our project is still a go. Rejection is part of life. I experienced it as a young child and over the years have learned to take rejection in stride.  I thank God for his favor.

At this current crossroads we have the option of turning back and stopping our momentum. We can try to make major changes in our project and turn to the left or to the right which takes us in a totally different direction; or we can stay on course and move forward. We are staying on course and moving forward with our plans.

Our purpose for writing “The String of Pearls” series is to tell wholesome stories based on our lifetime experiences. There were so many wonderful things that happened in the 1950s and 1960s that need to be told.  I will be posting stories behind the stories that cannot be told in detail in the books. I started a Pinterest Board that shows the television shows we watched in the 1950s.  I started a Pinterest Board to collect pictures and video where I can share with you the things that I grew up and experienced.
